Introduction

I have decided to brew a batch of homemade beer for my fermentation project. There are a number of online resources as well as local home brew shops that offer advice on what to use and how to brew the best beer possible.

Because I have never actually brewed my own beer I thought it would be wise to do some investigating before I made any attempts at brewing. I visited a local home brew shop in Morrisville, VT and found a handful of books on this subject. I decided to purchase Charlie Papazian's The Complete Joy of Home Brewing as a go to resource for this project. This book contains pretty much anything one might need to know in order to brew beer at home.
